From our founder Esha Toshniwal
‘Udte Raho’ translates as ‘to keep flying’ in English. This organization, through enthusiastic volunteers, teaches and empowers children in rural Rajasthan.
I was in a town in Rajasthan, called Banswara when I was first inspired to start this organization. I was deeply saddened when I found out that the children of these town had not gone to school or received any kind of education for over a year: my schooling had resumed just a weekend into the pandemic. Witnessing the stark disparity in access to quality education between urban and rural communities, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, a spark was ignited within me.
I envisioned a platform that connected students in Banswara, Rajasthan, with youth volunteers in Mumbai, bridging the digital divide and fostering a love for gaining and imparting knowledge. We have been conducting online classes and providing opportunities to the children in Banswara for almost 3 years now. This organization stands as a testament to the power of education and the transformative potential of digital inclusion.
